Diário de Pernambuco This is the oldest newspaper in Brazil and Latin America. It was founded on November 7th 1825, and has been published since. The page 3 of the paper has an archive section, where it recalls facts which were in the news headlines 25, 50, 75, 100 and 125 years ago; very often, there are references to the trading of slaves; it´s a History lesson by itself.
